The begining of a chapter
My SM chapter is going to be painted in the colour scheme of the eagle warriors.
Some fluff;
The Eagle Warriors are a second founding chapter of the Ultramarines.They are a fleet-based chapter, continually on campaign in the systems conquered by Robute Guilliman during the Great Crusade.They faught in the Zeist Campaign along side many other chapter such as the Night Watch, Halo Dragons, Silver Skulls, Sable Swords, Crimson Fists, Iron Warriors, Aurora Chapter, the Knights of the Raven and of course there founding chapter the Ultramarines. Furthermore they took part in the assault on "Kyran's Pass" and there 7th Company took part in the "Balur Secundus Strike Force". The current Chapter Master of the Eagle Warriors is Gaius Aegius.
I'm planning to make my chapter based around the look the space wolves have (the fur cloaks/tabards and such) mainly because i've always liked the look they have but not the colour scheme. So this is how i'm thinking of doing things:
My chapter were struck down in a space battle against an ork fleet, they crashed in the desert wasteland on the planet below, srandard on an unown planet with no way to contact the rest of the chapter for support and the ork fleet bering down on top of them thing were looking doubtfull. In a last ditch effort they loaded there bolters and picked up there chainswords for one last battle against (the still to be named) waaagh with great courage and much praise to the emperor they managed to push back orks regroup and prepare for battle once more since then theyu have been in a never ceasing battle against the orks.
Modeling;
As for how the models are going to look, well they will of couse be wearing fur in one way or another and also they will possibly have trophys they have taken from the farious orks they have killed. They will also apear very war beaten and weathered having been in constant battle and not having time to refurbish there armour.
That's all I have for now hopefully more to come and some WIP pictures.
